Reporting to: Head of Diverse

OMD Diverse specialises in multicultural media solutions to help brands reach Australia's diverse community audiences including CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse), Indigenous and LGBTQI+ communities. We develop culturally relevant media campaigns targeting the extensive multicultural and diverse communities across Australia. With over 1 in 4 Australians born overseas, the need to be relevant and culturally specific in our advertising has never been so important.

The CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) media landscape in Australia is huge and the choice of culturally specific publications, radio stations, TV broadcasting channels all now amplified digitally, has never been bigger. Due to growth and new business wins, Diverse are now looking for an Senior Account Manager to serve a critical media role.

Reporting into the National Head of Diverse, you will work with OMG client teams across agencies and offices nationally to execute innovative multicultural media strategies and implementation.

What you'll do:

• Strategic Excellence – Deliver high-quality, creative, and strategic multicultural media solutions, ensuring integration across agencies and continuous innovation.
• Client Trust & Leadership – Build strong client relationships, manage expectations, and become a go-to strategic advisor known for confident communication and proactive problem-solving.
• Commercial Growth – Drive revenue through identifying new business, accurate budgeting, award entries, and cross-functional opportunities within OMG.
• Team Development – Lead, coach, and manage team performance, workflow, and wellbeing while fostering cross-agency collaboration and individual growth.
• Process & Project Management – Ensure efficient project delivery through best-in-class planning, financial accuracy, and elimination of unnecessary meetings.
• Thought Leadership – Create and share industry-relevant thought pieces, contributing to Diverse’s voice and reputation in the market.
• Cultural Engagement – Actively participate in and lead internal multicultural initiatives, representing and promoting OMG’s values and inclusivity.
• Personal Development – Pursue continuous learning through internal and external training, mentorship, and professional programs to grow your personal brand.

What you'll need:

• Reporting into the Head of Diverse, you will work with OMG client teams across OMG offices nationally to oversee and execute innovative multicultural media strategies and implementation
• 5-7 years of experience in a relevant field
• Knowledge of Chinese media platforms (such as WeChat, Little Red Book, Weibo and Youku, etc.) and media vendors is crucial
