Base pay rangeA$150,000.00/yr - A$160,000.00/yr
A well-established national design studio is seeking a Senior Associate or Associate Director to join its team and lead socially responsive projects that prioritise well-being, accessibility and inclusion. Known for delivering quality architecture that positively impacts lives, this practice is looking to strengthen its leadership team with a seasoned professional passionate about designing for community and care. This is a rare opportunity to take the lead on meaningful projects while shaping the future direction of a growing local studio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead aged care, education, and multi-residential projects from early concept through to delivery
- Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to achieve project goals
- Mentor and guide emerging designers within the team
- Ensure adherence to relevant codes and quality standards
- Contribute to business development and sector growth initiatives
Skills & Experience
- Master’s Degree in Architecture and ARBV Registration
- 10+ years of post-graduate experience, with strong expertise in aged care and multi-residential design
- Knowledge of mental health design considerations in aged care is advantageous
- Strong leadership, communication, and project delivery skills
