About the service
The service is centrally located and close to public transport. With less than 90 children at full capacity, it offers terrific-sized rooms, a fantastic outdoor environment, and genuinely happy and supportive staff. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Centre Manager to make this your own.
We are looking for a strong leader with experience in a similar setting. You must demonstrate a proven ability to use your communication skills to persuade, engage, inspire, and motivate a team of passionate Educators to deliver optimal learning outcomes for the families being served. The ideal candidate would have experienced at least one A&R with favorable outcomes.
About the role
As Centre Manager, you will oversee daily operations, including but not limited to:
- Guiding and mentoring a team
- Supporting and upholding the Centre's policies, procedures, philosophy, and regulations
- Attending to administration tasks as needed
- Developing collaborative partnerships with families and the community
- Ensuring the highest quality of education and care is maintained throughout
About you
- Diploma qualification or above
- Minimum of 2 years' continuous experience in a Centre Manager or 2IC role in a long day care setting
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
- Responsibility and dedication to providing a safe and positive environment for children and staff
- A&R experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with families and the wider community
- Strong organisational and time management skills
