· Entry and/or validation of purchase orders and orders into the JDA WMS
· Liaise with clients, carriers and internal stakeholders in relation to shipping requirements and documentation
· Ensure that all delivery dates are adhered to in order to ship goods on time and in full
· Coordinate the flow of timely information to and from customers and escalate issues with a high sense of urgency.
· Communicate with warehouse personnel to ensure orders are picked, packed and staged in a timely manner.
· Use initiative to find customer focused solutions
· Develop relationships with freight carriers and key customers
· Actively engage in a culture of business improvement
· Assist customers with tracking status of consignments when required
· Excellent communication skills, both professional and friendly
· Advanced, proven working knowledge in MS Office
· Be a team player, yet also be able to work autonomously
· Thrive in a challenging environment, where multi-tasking is a must
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Strong procedure and process orientation
· A passion for on time delivery, critical time path aware
· Driven by Lean methodologies and process improvement
· Responsible for reviewing all customer documentation, telephone, over-the-counter orders reporting any perceived
discrepancies in information provided and for resolving any issues.
· Maintain procedural forms and documentation and table file data maintenance in JDA system.
· Processing Request for Changes for documents on the QMS system.
· Record internal and external complaints on QIR’s.
· Take immediate corrective action and initiative to resolve any customer complaints, prevention of non-conformance
recurrences and advise client of resolution progress/outcome.
· Identifying and reporting any unsafe work practices.
· Responsible to ensure all activities are undertaken in accordance with Chain of Responsibility and Health and Safety
and Environmental regulations and requirements
· Other duties as specified by Contract Logistics Manager.
· Deal with clients and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
· Wear safety/protective clothing as required.
· Other tasks and responsibilities which may be assigned as and when required by supervisor/manager
