  • Salary $58,709 - $63,154 p.a. (Pro Rata) AS02 | 1 FTE – Short term contract with potential of extension

Join our Workforce Team as a HR Business Support Officer

The HR Business Support Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of comprehensive HR administrative support within SALHN. This position involves managing a variety of HR tasks with confidentially and timeliness, contributing to effective workforce management and supporting the overall HR function to meet organisational goals.

About the role:

  • Assisting with recruitment administration, including position vacancies, preparing employment contracts and supporting recruitment processes.
  • Maintaining and updating confidential personnel records and HR data in compliance with policies and regulations
  • Support monitoring and reporting on HR Key Performance Indicators and prepare relevant HR reports
  • Provide HR system support by educating managers, staff and shared services teams.
  • Providing a range of general administrative support and services to the HR team, including supporting routine financial activities and assisting with staff induction processes.

About you:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills consistent with providing high quality customer service.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to handle and manage confidential and sensitive information and to exercise appropriate initiative.
  • Excellent organisational skills that deliver work to strict deadlines efficiently.
  • Proficient in utilising a range of software including word, excel and database software applications.
  • Experience in HR Admin, HR matters or familiarity within the Public Sector is desirable attribute.
