FMG Engineering is celebrating nearly 50 years of business. Founded as Koukourou Engineers in 1972, the business was incorporated in 1973. From humble beginnings, the firm grew to be one of the leading private engineering firms by the 1980’s.
Renowned for being innovative and thinking outside the box, we have always maintained a strong focus on research and development. This desire for problem solving and getting the “right” answer for our client’s needs, was the basis for the establishment of our leading forensic engineering business.
In August of 2013 Burns Hamilton and Partners, a leading Melbourne based structural and civil consultancy with a strong background in commercial development, merged with FMG Engineering.
Together, we have a strong heritage in urban engineering, having been a leading provider of engineering services to the housing, commercial and land development industries over the life of the business.
