Lock Early Learning Centre is a Department of Education and Child Development Preschool.
We are located on South Tce. Lock, and share the grounds and some facilities with the Lock Area School. Lock Area School operates as a separate service and caters for children from reception to year 10. Lock is in the centre of the Eyre Peninsula.
Lock Early Learning Centre provides excellent educational opportunities for preschool aged children within a centre, supportive to families and young children.

Lock Early Learning Centre (LELC) is a member of the Central Eyre Partnership. LELC is a part time, category 1 site with a capacity of 30. It is a stand-alone, preschool, situated within the grounds of the Lock Area School. Parking is available at the centre which can be found at the South Tce. entrance of the Lock Area School. The service is not open during South Australian Government school holiday dates.
LELC is staffed with a Director/teacher who was new to the site in 2014 and an ECW who is a longstanding employee. Relief staff comes from a local pool of well-known people.
